During the shooting of the film Shahid Kapoor shares daily photos and videos from the set of the film for the fans. But yesterday a disturbing news came from the set of the movie Jersey. According to media reports actor Shahid Kapoor has been seriously injured during the shooting of the film.

The film was being shot in Delhi and Shahid Kapoor was batting but he was not wearing any protection atom. As the bowler threw the ball, the ball went straight to Shahid Kapoor's lips. His lips were injured when the ball hit him and the shooting of the film was stopped.

In this regard, Shahid Kapoor also shared a photo on his Instagram account in which it can be seen that the actor has his hands on his lips and his mouth is bleeding. There is also blood on the actress' handkerchief and shirt.

An ambulance was called after the accident which took Shahid Kapoor to hospital. He was treated there. And the doctor has advised the actor to rest. After which Shahid was transferred to his hotel room and shooting of the film was stopped for some time.

Cause of Injury

The actor's colleagues said that the incident took place due to disregard of safety rules and this matter will be taken care of in future. Recently, Shahid Kapoor shared a video on his Instagram saying that his strong memory in the movie Jersey was that he will not look like before because the scars on his face will always be there.
